Emergency Food Bank
The Habitat for Humanity of San Joaquin County, Inc. covers a large geographical area. Projects in the past have ranged from Lodi to Tracy. Projects have consisted of primarily single family homes. We have an opportunity to contribute to our community in a different way. The Emergency Food Bank has asked if we could assist in the completion of the new Nutrition Education Center located near the corner of Center and West Scotts Avenue in Stockton.
The building is approximately 3,000 square feet and consists of offices, a large office work area, restrooms and a demonstration kitchen. The work will include metal stud framing, insulation, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, drywall, painting, ceramic tile, finish carpentry, "t-bar" grid ceilings with acoustical ceiling tiles, vinyl flooring and carpeting.
If you have a desire to help families within our community, please contact our office at (209) 465-5054 and let us know what your skills are. We would welcome your help to make this project a success.
