Construction Projects

Habitat for humanity of San Joaquin County, Inc. needs your financial support to further its mission of eliminating substandard, poverty housing by providing homeownership opportunities to low income,  working families in need. The new "I Helped Build It" campaign is raising funds for our current project, a 19 lot subdivision in Stockton, California. We are in the initial stages of the project and need assistance with tasks from top to bottom....starting with the naming of the project, to working with local designers for the plans, to volunteer labor from the initial stages including site cleaning to labor to  construct the homes. The Habitat will be reaching out to the community for help in all these areas to truly make this a community effort.  Every donation, large or small, will help more families have the opportunity to change their lives and make their dreams or ownership come true. With your help we can make this dream a reality.

Times are tough and we understand that for some, financial support is not possible at this time.  Please know that we welcome your gifts of time and talent as well. Please see the Volunteer section of our web site to learn how you can get involved whether you are an architect or a tile setter or just someone with a willing heart and some time to spare. Volunteer labor and financial support are both critical to our efforts. Habitat will be reaching out to the community for help in all these areas to truly make this a community effort and we can’t do it without you.
