Home Buyer Program

If you are living in substandard housing and have thought you might never be able to afford a home because of your income, do not give up home. Habitat for Humanity is not a conventional loan program.  If you are a local, low-income resident who is willing to partner with Habitat by putting in “sweat equity” on Habitat projects this may be an answer to your prayers.

Call the Habitat office at (209) 465-5054 with any questions that you may have. The first step is to fill out the Family Questionnaire to on this page and submit to our Family Selection Committee. After filling out this initial questionnaire, you will be contacted by the Committee on the next steps. Our Homeowner Orientation Workshop dates are listed on the Events page and interested families are encouraged to attend the workshop. They are held at the Habitat office at 4933 West Lane in Stockton.

We invite interested families to complete our Family Questionnaire, which is the initial contact between a family and our Family Selection Committee.

The application process has been opened. We have currently scheduled a Homeowner Application and Orientation Session for January 10, 2015. This informative session will be open to the first 25 applicants. Please sign up on the events/volunteer sign up sheet to reserve your space for this session, or call the office at (209) 465-5054. The initial application can be downloaded from this website by following the link below or an application can be picked up at the office at 4933 West lane, Stockton, CA 95210.
